DG Door Service LLC is a locally owned, licensed garage door repair contractor serving Sherwood, Arkansas and soon other Central Arkansas areas. We provide residential garage door repair, installation, opener service, spring replacement, and maintenance with a focus on safety, craftsmanship, and honest pricing.

Originally established in Anaheim, California, DG Door Service now proudly operates in Arkansas, serving homeowners and businesses throughout the Little Rock metro area. We are not affiliated with any similarly named companies in other states or countries.

Where It Started

DG Door Service began in 2016 as a family-driven passion project rooted in decades of hands-on experience. Ruby and her husband Tim teamed up with Ruby’s father, Dave, Orange County’s go-to garage door installer for over 40 years.

Known among peers as the “installer’s installer,” Dave earned his reputation by tackling the toughest jobs and mentoring technicians when others couldn’t find a solution. When Ruby joined the crew, Dave passed down every detail of the trade—skills and standards few installers ever reach.

Together, Dave, Ruby, and Tim handled high-end custom installations and demanding repairs throughout Southern California. Those early years laid the foundation for what would become DG Door Service LLC.

Honoring “DG”

The name DG Door Service pays tribute to Dave’s Garage Door Service—and to the man whose craftsmanship, mentorship, and work ethic shaped our company.

The initials “DG” also reflect Dave’s passion as a motocross legend, symbolizing the precision, grit, and drive that defined his career both on two wheels and under garage doors. That same mindset carries forward in every repair and installation we perform today.

A New Chapter in Arkansas

In 2018, we packed up decades of experience and moved east, putting down roots in Arkansas, where Tim and his family were originally from.

Though our doors officially are reopening in Central Arkansas in 2026, the years in between were spent planning, adapting, and ensuring we could deliver the same Southern California craftsmanship and customer-first mindset to the Sherwood, AR area and surrounding communities.

DG Door Service LLC now operates as a licensed contractor in Arkansas, committed to safe, professional service and long-term reliability.

Remembering Dave

On Saturday, October 15, 2023, we lost our founder, father, friend, and mentor—Dave (Davey Williams).

Dave’s passion for perfection and his generosity with knowledge inspired everyone around him. His legacy lives on in every job we do, every door we install, and every satisfied customer we serve.

He believed there was no excuse for cutting corners and no justification for taking advantage of customers. We carry that philosophy forward every day—doing the job right, treating people fairly, and letting quality speak for itself.
