DG Door Service is a family-owned garage door company serving homeowners throughout Central Arkansas. We provide residential garage door repair, spring replacement, opener service, and new garage door installation with a focus on safety, honest recommendations, and dependable workmanship.

The company was originally started in Anaheim, California in 2016 by Ruby and her father, who spent more than four decades working in the garage door industry. Over the years, the family gained extensive hands-on experience installing and repairing residential garage door systems for homeowners.

Today, DG Door Service proudly operates in Arkansas, providing residential garage door service for homeowners across the Little Rock metro area and surrounding Central Arkansas communities.

A Family Tradition of Garage Door Experience

Garage door work has been part of the family for decades. With more than 40 years of industry experience passed down through generations, DG Door Service was built on the values of honest service, reliable repairs, and treating customers the right way.

Where It Started

DG Door Service began in 2016 as a family-driven passion project rooted in decades of hands-on experience. Ruby and her husband Tim teamed up with Ruby’s father, Dave, who was known throughout Orange County as one of the area’s most respected garage door installers after more than 40 years in the industry.

Dave built a reputation for taking on the toughest installations and repairs when others couldn’t find a solution. When Ruby joined the crew, Dave passed down the skills, standards, and craftsmanship that defined his career.

Together, Dave, Ruby, and Tim handled demanding installations and complex repairs throughout Southern California. Those early years laid the foundation for what would eventually become DG Door Service LLC.

Honoring “DG”

The name DG Door Service pays tribute to Dave’s Garage Door Service and to the man whose craftsmanship, mentorship, and work ethic shaped the company.

The initials “DG” also reflect Dave’s passion as a motocross legend, symbolizing the precision, determination, and grit that defined his career both on two wheels and under garage doors.

That same mindset carries forward in every repair and installation we perform today.

A New Chapter in Arkansas

In 2018, the family relocated to Arkansas, where Tim and his family were originally from. The years that followed were spent preparing to bring the same level of craftsmanship and customer-first service to Central Arkansas.

DG Door Service officially opened its doors in the Little Rock metro area in 2025 as a licensed Arkansas contractor serving homeowners throughout Central Arkansas.

Remembering Dave

On October 15, 2023, we lost our founder, father, mentor, and friend — Dave (Davey Williams).

Dave believed there was no excuse for cutting corners and no justification for taking advantage of customers. His dedication to craftsmanship and integrity continues to guide everything we do.

His legacy lives on in every repair we complete, every door we install, and every homeowner we serve.
